Getting there:

Ferry: Operated by Sealink, a car and passenger ferry operates daily between Cape Jervis on the Fleurieu Peninsula and Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island.

By air: QantasLink fly daily from Adelaide Airport to Kangaroo Island.

By coach: Mainland coach return connections are available daily fro Adelaide to Cape Jervis from the Adelaide Central Bus Station.

Getting around:

Two wheel drive vehicles are suitable for most of the Island’s roads although some prefer to use a 4WD. You can bring your own car on the ferry or hire a car from the airport or Penneshaw. There is no public transport and only limited transport services on the Island through KI 24/7 Bus Charters and Kangaroo Island Transfers.
